Trailer for the Failed Superman Movie Documentary

 If you ever saw An Evening with Kevin Smith, you know there was going to be a Superman film in the 90's based (loosely) on the Death and Return storyline. Smith wrote the first draft, Tim Burton Burton was brought on board to direct and Nicholas Cage was cast as Superman (with a Kryptonian mullet). Long story short, the movie was never made but there are copies of the script, pictures of concept art and prototype Superman suits around the web that raised fan interest about the project. Film maker Jon Schnepp decided to make a documentary about the ill fated movie called The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened?. It includes interviews with Smith, Burton and even Grant Morrison (All-Star Superman writer).

I love this type of documentaries that gives you an idea of what happens behind production. And I remember rumors about this movie back in the 90's and wondered what happened. Still, I would love to see Nicholas Cage play Superman in a over-the-top kind of way (not in a big budget movie). Definitely a day-one purchase for me. For more info about the movie, check this site.
