Um Conto De Batman: Na Psicose Do Ventríloquo movie review

 Between Dark Knight Rises and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, there is Um Conto De Batman: Na Psicose Do Ventríloquo (A Batman's Tale: In The Psychosis Of The Ventriloquist). Brazilian director Elvis Delbagno offers a new vision of the Caped Crusader, featuring an obscure villain and projecting social concerns from Brazil.This film is a great example that you don’t need millions of dollars and huge stars to make a good Batman movie. And yes, the film is in Portuguese.

New Guardians of the Galaxy Trailer!

July 31 can't get sooner! This movie looks like a lot of fun. The character interactions are so good (at least what have been showed in the trailers) that the action seems like the icing on the cake. The music seems a little off for a sci-fi flick but somehow (the really weird characters maybe) it fits. Hope it lives up to the hype (and Marvel is really hyping this movie) in a summer full of dragon, monsters, time-traveling mutants, smart primates, robots in disguise and alien invaders.

Dracula Untold trailer

This is the first trailer for the new Universal movie about the Prince of Darkness. It seems like a comic-book style origin story that tries to combine the historical Vlad Tepes with the character created by Bram Stoker. The first half of the trailer reminded me of 300 but the second part makes me think of Castlevania. The settings, how he uses his powers and the way the character looks. Maybe the film makers took some inspiration from the legendary video game series. The movie looks like it might be fun.

This new image features Superman (Henry Cavill) from the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (plus Alpha). We see the Man of Steel in what I think is Gotham City. The picture looks really dark. I have no problem with Batman being dark but Superman should be light. That's what make their friendship/rivalry work. The film will open in 2016.

The movie was released some weeks ago. Lots of websites and videos are discussing the various plots, characters and, of course, the ending. But there is one spoiler that is not being covered.

X-Men Days of Future Past Thoughts

The movie will be released this week and the final battle for mutantkind will be decided. The X-Men world is at ruins (thanks Brett Ratner), mutants are being hunted by machines and exterminated. We saw he trailers, we know the hype, but frankly, I have my doubts about the movie.
