Happy Friend Day!!

 In Argentina, July 20th is Friend Day (Día del Amigo). The day we celebrate the people we can have fun with, share our problems and argue without caring who wins. To everyone, Happy Friend Day!

Brazil vs Germany

While I don't follow sports in general, this is something to talk about. Today, Germany unleashed hell over Brazil with a victory of 7-1. Every person in the world (even those like me, who don't know much about soccer) know that Brazil is one of the greats (they won the World Cup 5 times) and this defeat came unexpected. Without a doubt, this will be the most talk about game of this event. Let's see what happens tomorrow when Argentina (I'm from there, Yay!!!) faces The Netherlands.

Tasty Nostagia - Patalin Ice Cream Bar

This ice cream bar is from Argentina, made by Laponia. It was extremely popular in the 80's with it's characteristic foot shape and delicious strawberry flavor. Perfect for those summer days from December to early March (yeah, South Hemisphere).

It's been many years since I was able to enjoy it. I went to Argentina a couple of times in the 90's and last decade, but wasn't able to find it. According to the Internet, Patalin can still be found. If you're able to find it, give it a shot!
